Competitions
Our festivals have a common name. Meet KÁVOVÝ.
New brand. Shared passion. We'll meet over coffee.

New brand, a well-known passion for coffee. The festivals of SCA Czech Republic are now connected under the name KÁVOVÝ. Each retains its own city, atmosphere, and visual identity. The next stop is Pardubice, where we will meet on November 21.
Kávový. Always a bit different, always together.
We have been organizing coffee festivals for over ten years. In addition to Prague and Brno, we have recently ventured into other cities, such as Ostrava and Liberec. We meet new visitors there, the local coffee community, and enthusiasts who travel across the country for good coffee.
Now our festivals are getting a common brand KÁVOVÝ. We want you to easily recognize them, while each belongs to the city where it takes place. That’s why each has its own color and graphic motifs inspired by local symbols.
The main thing remains: personal meetings with roasters, discovering flavors, and spaces to learn something new about coffee. Whether you work behind the coffee machine, brew filters at home, or simply enjoy good coffee.

First time in Pardubice. One day, lots of flavors.
Pardubický kávový will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the auditorium of the University of Pardubice at Studentská 519.
At one place, you will meet roasters and the people behind their coffees. You will taste their offerings, discuss coffee preparation, and perhaps discover your new favorite. The day will also include lectures, workshops, and cuppings — guided tastings where you can compare coffees and learn about their differences.
Entry to the festival is free. You can come to look around, meet the exhibitors, and enjoy the atmosphere. If you want to fully taste and participate in the accompanying program, get a coffee pass.
Coffee passes are now on sale
With a coffee pass, you will get unlimited tastings of filtered coffee at all booths throughout the festival and access to lectures, workshops, and cuppings at no additional cost. For activities with limited capacity, you need to reserve your spot.
You can choose a classic pass or a variant with a handmade ceramic cup from Keramiky Kolářovi, which you will keep for future coffee experiences. You can also bring your own cup — this will help us reduce disposable cups.

WTF!? New competition in filtered coffee preparation
In Pardubice, we will also introduce WTF!? – What the Filter!?, a new competition that we want to make a regular part of our festivals and return to it every year.
The principle is simple: an unknown coffee, space to try out a recipe, and then ten competitive minutes to prepare a single cup. The result will be decided by a jury through blind tasting. The taste of their coffee speaks for the competitors.
You can expect duels in pairs, semifinals with three participants, and a final with Geisha. The format connects experienced baristas and home enthusiasts, giving them the opportunity to experience the competition atmosphere and receive feedback. The winner will also receive registration for the Czech Brewers Cup 2027.
And if you don’t want to compete, come to cheer. You can enjoy the tension of the final cups from the audience.

Roasters and exhibitors, join us
Do you have a roastery, offer coffee equipment, something good to go with coffee, or another product that should not be missing at the festival? The offer for exhibitors and partners is open.
We would be happy to welcome brands that want to personally introduce their work to visitors and become part of the first Pardubice edition. Check out the participation options and get in touch with us — together we will find a suitable form of participation.
